The challenge
For its “fit out start up” campaign, dENiZEN by Levis was seeking a viral clip that would generate broad coverage in the young, networked generation. The film was to work online and also at POS.
Our solution
We created a particularly elaborate light painting film. In an abandoned urban landscape by night, we worked with a large team of light painters to convert the night-time city into a creative playground in which nature makes a magical comeback.
The video was seen and shared by a vast number of people. After one week we had more than 500,000 views!
The customer’s objective was completely achieved: the clip fascinated and delighted a large audience world wide and even won the German Web Video Prize 2012 (Audience Award and Jury Award).
Why we love this project
We enjoyed complete artistic freedom and could work with a fantastic team to create a wonderful clip, which still has huge resonance today. It was shown on TV in Japan, at the official public viewing of the Olympic Games in London and at festivals worldwide. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank especially Raymond and JJ from JQK Production and the entire Lichtfaktor team & friends, who made this clip possible.
